Weddings and Events

A cake consultation is a great way for us to get to know each other before we start to work on your cake and/or desserts.  Manatee Maven, Inc. consultation is a professional and enjoyable experience and  we will put everything into making the wedding cake of your dreams!  We’re happy to answer any questions at any time and look forward to working with you and your team.

The consultation fee is $175.00 and includes your choice of three cake flavors.   Each cake is a 6" round layered cake, custom baked to order for your consultation.  You may choose up to two additional flavors to taste for a fee of $50.00 each.  An invoice will be emailed to you for your convenience and will need to be paid at least three days prior to your consultation date.  If you should need to reschedule or cancel, we ask that you contact us no later than one week in advance.

The cake consultation is available appointment only.  Manatee Maven, Inc. will work with you to schedule mutually agreeable date and time for your cake tasting.

Please reserve your cake early,  as we limit the number of cakes we bake and decorate.  A $250.00 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit will reserve your date. The balance is due two (2)  weeks before your wedding date.

There is no delivery charge for cakes delivered within Citrus County, Florida. If you need delivery outside of Citrus County, Florida, a per mile delivery fee  $1.50 per mile is assessed.  This delivery fee is a separate charge and will not be included in the price of your cake.  We will coordinate the time with you – and schedule to meet you or your designee.  Sunday deliveries have additional charges.  For exact delivery fees,  please ask the consultant during your appointment.

We schedule your consultation for one (1) hour and ask that you are prepared to provide us with the following:

• The style of your wedding or event
• Examples of cake styles  you like
• Exact color swatches for your event (If you would like for us to match)
• Your Florist Information (If you are working with one)
• Venue Information 

If you are unsure about the style of your wedding, or don't have anything in mind for your cake, please let us know ahead of time so we can schedule more time for brainstorming.
